Independent Filmmaking in Wilmington, NC, a very well received story of the filmmaking industry in Wilmington, was shown on cable TV for over a year. 

 

Beneath The Airlie Oak, a historical documentary of beautiful Airlie Gardens, on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, is complete with a release date set for 2008.  Linda Lavin, award-winning stage, TV, and movie actress, narrates Beneath the Airlie Oak. 

 

Camp BONES is a promotional documentary completed in 2006.  It tells the story of a group of talented 8th and 9th graders exploring the field of medicine, with an emphasis in nursing.  This movie is being shown to middle school students to encourage interest in pursing a career in these fields.

 

Where Do I Turn?, an educational advocacy DVD  for parents on the topic of adolescent drug abuse, is in production. 

 

Three Apples Fall, an award-winning adaptation of an Estonian fairy tale, is complete and is being sent to film festivals across the nation.  The California premiere will be at the San Francisco International Children's Film Festival.  Three Apples Fall stars Bonnie Johnson, Aaron Mills, Judy DuBose and Leah Marie Parker, and was filmed at Poplar Grove Plantation in Wilmington, NC.  Click here to see production pictures, and check back on this site later for further developments.
